New Jersey dropped their first game on their season high six-game road trip (3-1-0) after falling to the Anaheim Ducks, 4-2. The Devils finished their season series 1-1-0 against the Ducks and are 1-4-0 at Honda Center and 3-6-1 overall against Anaheim since 2013-14. New Jersey's last win at Honda Center was on Nov. 20, 2013 when Devils forward Travis Zajac scored the game-winning goal in overtime.

ANAHEIM, CA - Outshot and outscored. 

The New Jersey Devils were handed a 4-2 defeat by the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday evening, after trailing 2-0 early in the first period. Former Anaheim Ducks members Kyle Palmieri and Patrick Maroon both scored against their former team in the loss, a game in which the Devils were outshot 36-17.

New Jersey won their second and final game against the Los Angeles Kings, 3-0, finishing their 2017-18 season series against the Kings 2-0-0. With the win, the Devils improve to 3-0-0 on their current six-game road trip. New Jersey is now 7-2-0 in their last nine road games, with a goal differential of +8.

The Devils scored two goals in the first period, and Keith Kinkaid recorded a shutout as the Devils earn their 37th victory of the season.

New Jersey won their second and final game against the Vegas Golden Knights, 8-3, finishing their 2017-18 season series 1-1-0 against Vegas. In the victory, the Devils set a season high for goals in a game with eight (previously seven, Nov. 12 at CHI, 7-5 W). The last time the Devils scored eight goals in a game was Nov. 25, 2005 in an 8-2 win at Tampa Bay. Additionally, the club tied a season high for goals in a period, when they scored four goals in the second (also, Oct. 9 at BUF, Nov. 12 at CHI and Mar. 6 vs. MTL).

Nico Hischier, Blake Coleman, Brian Gibbons, Michael Grabner and Taylor Hall all had two-point nights and the Devils handed the Golden Knights just their 8th loss on home ice this season.
