Devils Look for Home-Ice Advantage for Turnaround

12/20 Devils vs. Predators: 3 Things to Know

by Julie Robenhymer /

The Devils (12-12-7) return home to Prudential Center tonight looking to snap a six-game winless streak as they host the Nashville Predators (14-12-5). Here's what you need to know:
1) The Devils are 8-1-2 at The Rock and have out-scored their opponents 34-28 on home ice, where they play eight of their next 11 games.

2) John Moore tallied his fifth goal of the season against Ottawa on Saturday marking a career high with 51 games left in the season. It shouldn't be a surprise though, as the blueline is contributing much more on the offensive side of the ice than in seasons past. Last year, they were responsible for 10.9% of the team's goals and so far this year 22.2% of the Devil's offense has come from the defense.
3) Linemates Taylor Hall and Travis Zajac have been logging some serious minutes the past few games and have averaged 20+ minutes per game so far this season, ranking them 7th and 10th, respectively, in the league among forwards.
We'll have a full slate of game day content for you starting with The Morning Report at 11:45 a.m. on Facebook Live. You can watch tonight's game on MSG+ or listen to it on The One Jersey Network. Puck drops at 7 p.m.
