Devils announce jersey number changes

The New Jersey Devils today released jersey number changes for the upcoming season. The announcement was made by Devils’ Executive Vice President/General Manager Ray Shero.

  • Forward Mike Cammalleri, who previously wore #23, will now wear #13.
  • Defenseman Eric Gelinas, who previously wore #22, will now wear #44.
  • Forward Jordin Tootoo, who previously wore #20, will now wear #22.

Starting Thursday, August 13 at the Devils Den Team Store at Prudential Center, the team will offer fans the opportunity to exchange their No. 23 Cammalleri jersey for a No. 13, No. 22 Gelinas for a No. 44, or a No. 20 Tootoo for a No. 22, for the same type (Authentic, Premier, Youth, Women’s) and size, of jersey being returned.

To be eligible for the exchange, the jersey being returned must be officially licensed by the NHL, be manufactured by Reebok, and have been purchased at a Devils Den Team Store location in Prudential Center or via shop.nhl.com. Exchanges must be made in-person at the Devils Den Team Store at Prudential Center between Aug. 13 and Sep. 13, 2015.
