Devils acquire second, third-round picks from Florida for Jagr

Newark, NJ – The New Jersey Devils today acquired Florida’s second-round pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft and New Jersey’s option of Florida or Minnesota’s (acquired by Florida, Feb. 25, 2015) third-round selection in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft in exchange for right wing Jaromir Jagr. The announcement was made by Devils’ President/General Manager Lou Lamoriello.
Jagr, 43, posted 35 goals and 61 assists for 96 points in 139 games over the past two seasons in New Jersey. He originally signed as a free agent with the Devils, July 23, 2013.
