Clowe returns to practice

by Eric Marin / New Jersey Devils

Ryane Clowe
returned to the ice Tuesday at AmeriHealth Pavilion for his first practice since October.

Clowe (head) was one of seven Devils on the ice for a limited skate following Monday's loss in Montreal. He has missed 22 games since getting hurt in Winnipeg on Oct. 13.

"There have been no setbacks from what I've heard, so that's good news," head coach Peter DeBoer said.

Signed as a free agent last summer, Clowe has one assist in six games this season.

Also skating Tuesday were forwards Cam Janssen, Jacob Josefson, Tim Sestito and Mattias Tedenby, defenseman Peter Harrold and goaltender Cory Schneider.

Schneider will start Wednesday, when the Devils close out the home-and-home against the Canadiens at Prudential Center.

DeBoer said Adam Henrique (lower body) will be a game-time decision. Henrique played two periods of Monday's game, but did not return for the third.
