newjerseydevils.com – Forwards Noah Clarke and Barry Tallackson have been recalled from Lowell under emergency conditions, it has been announced.
Clarke has scored 12 goals and 13 assists for 25 points in 35 games this season with New Jersey's AHL affiliate.
Signed by the Devils as a free agent last July, the 5-9, 190-lb left wing was chosen with Los Angeles' 10th pick, 250 overall, in the 1999 Entry Draft. Clarke has two goals and an assist in 20 career NHL games, all with the Kings.
Tallackson has collected 12 goals and nine assists for 21 points in 30 games this season with Lowell. The 6-5, 215-lb. native of Grafton, N.D., was seleced with the Devils' second pick, 53rd overall, in the 2002 Entry Draft after spending four years at the University of Minnesota.
Tallackson was recalled by the Devils for three games last season. In 13 career games with New Jersey, he has notched a goal and an assist.
The moves come after Jay Pandolfo and Karel Rachunek were placed on injured reserve, retroactively.
Pandolfo has missed 14 games since injuring his groin on Nov. 28 against Dallas. Rachunek has missed three games with a sore ankle.
