First, we had the dates, and now we have the times.
The National Hockey League released the times of games for the 2020-21 NHL season, which begins in just 10 days for the New Jersey Devils. Unique to this season, with the realignment, every game takes place in the Eastern time zone. We scrubbed through the schedule so you don't have to break it all down.

1. Afternoon Delight

There will be a lot of Devils-filled hockey in your lives during the afternoons of the 2020-21 schedule. In total, the Devils will play six one o'clock games, including back-to-back 1 p.m. games against the Sabres in Buffalo.
The team will play three 12:30 pm games, the first of which is at home against Buffalo on February 20th. There are two 3 pm games, and one at 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 6 p.m. respectively.

2. Opening Night

Now we know exactly when we'll get our first taste of New Jersey Devils hockey for the 2020-21 season. When the Devils welcome the Boston Bruins on January 14th, it will be a primetime affair with a puck drop just after 7 p.m.

3. Rivalry Night… and Day

That stretch against the Rangers between April 13th and April 18th, the Devils play the New York Rangers four times in a row. The first two games, one at home and one at Madison Square Garden are evening matchups at 7 p.m. for a good old rivalry game.
The following two games have 12:30 pm starts and a 3 p.m. start to close out the series.
