1. The Devils are looking to snap a four-game winless streak (0-2-2) at home; they’re 5-6-3 at Prudential Center overall. After tonight, six of their next nine games will be played on the road.

2. The visiting Florida Panthers, who are closing out a five-game road trip, have won five straight, including a 2-1 shootout victory at Columbus on Friday. They’re 7-4-2 on the road this season.

3. Former Devil Jaromir Jagr returns to Prudential Center tonight. Jagr, who leads the Panthers with 18 points (8g-10a) this season, is one goal away from tying Marcel Dionne for fourth on the NHL's all-time list (731).

4. Cory Schneider and Roberto Luongo have started head-to-head four times. Schneider is 1-1-2 with a 2.44 GAA and .903 save percentage, while Luongo is 3-1-0 with a 3.43 GAA and .878 save percentage. Schneider and Luongo were teammates with Vancouver for three full seasons from 2010-13.

5. The Devils have won seven straight meetings with Florida at The Rock and are 6-2-1 against the Panthers since the start of 2012-13.

6. This is the first of two meetings between the two clubs over the next 11 days, both to be played at Prudential Center. Florida returns on Dec. 17.
