Here's what you need to know for tonight's game against the Red Wings:

1. The Devils are back home from a four-game road trip for their first game at Prudential Center since Nov. 15. They open a three-game road trip tomorrow at Nassau Coliseum against the Islanders.

2. Cory Schneider is 3-3-2 with a 2.09 goals-against average and .925 save percentage at The Rock this season. In 29 career games at Prudential Center, including one as a member of the Canucks, Schneider is 15-7-6 with three shutouts, a 1.69 GAA and a .932 save percentage.

3. Tonight, Andy Greene will play in his 500th NHL game, all with the Devils, becoming the eighth defenseman/25th player in team history to reach the milestone.

4. New Jersey’s penalty kill unit was 2-for-2 in Vancouver on Tuesday to improve to 27-for-28 (96.4%) over the last seven games.

5. Detroit defeated the Flyers, 5-2, on Wednesday and has won four of its last five games. Henrik Zetterberg leads the Red Wings with 19 points (5g-14a). Gustav Nyquist leads the club with 10 goals, including six on the power play.

6. Jimmy Howard is 10-4-4 with one shutout, a 2.09 goals-against average and a .920 save-percentage in 18 starts this season.
