Here's what you need to know for tonight's homestand finale against the Sabres!

This is the first of three meetings with the Sabres and the first of two to be played at Prudential Center. Buffalo won the 2013-14 season series 2-0-1.

2. Jaromir Jagr, who notched his 15th career hat trick on Saturday, needs two points to reach 100 in his career vs. Buffalo (42g-56a-98pts in 80 games).

3. Former Sabre Steve Bernier (2 games missed) is expected back in the lineup tonight for the first time since injuring his hip in Detroit on Dec. 31.

4. Cory Schneider is 1-2-2 with a 1.75 goals-against average & .925 save percentage in five appearances vs. the Sabres. Buffalo starter Jhonas Enroth is 11-13-2 with one shutout, a 3.14 GAA and .909 sv% in 27 games this season.

5. Tyler Ennis leads the Sabres with  24 points (9g-15a) this season. Zemgus Girgensons is Buffalo’s leading goal scorer with 11.

6. Buffalo has lost four straight and is 1-7-1 over its last nine games following a 6-1 loss at Madison Square Garden on Saturday.
