Bud Light Six Pack of Stats: NJD vs. ARI

by Staff Writer / New Jersey Devils

Here’s what you need to know for tonight’s matchup with the Arizona Coyotes!

1. The Devils are off to a 3-0-0 start on their season-high six-game homestand and looking for their first four-game winning streak since taking five in a row from Feb. 3-10, 2013.

2. The Devils hope to stay hot at home, where they have points in 13 of their last 15 games (10-2-3).

3. Scott Clemmensen has been recalled from Albany to backup tonight’s starter Cory Schneider. Clemmensen, who’s been with the Devils’ AHL affiliate since Dec. 9, is filling in for Keith Kinkaid, who suffered a lower-body injury in the second period of Saturday’s win over Carolina.

4. Schneider is 3-1-1 with two shutouts, a 0.99 goals-against average and .962 save percentage in five career games vs. Arizona.

5. Five different Devils enter tonight’s game on point streaks: Scott Gomez (2a, 2 games), Adam Larsson (4a, 2 games), Adam Henrique (1g-2a, 3 games), Mike Cammalleri (2g-1a, 2 games), Jordin Tootoo (1g-1a, 2 games).

6. Arizona has dropped five in a row. Oliver Ekman-Larsson leads all NHL defensemen with 17g and is tied for fourth among all skaters with seven game-winning goals.
