Bud Light Six Pack of Stats: NJD vs. ANA

by Staff Writer / New Jersey Devils

Here’s what you need to know for tonight’s game against the Ducks!

1. This is the second of two meetings between the teams this season. Anaheim won 5-1 at Honda Center on Jan. 16.

2. The Devils are 10-5-1 in their last 16 games at Prudential Center and 5-6-2 at home vs. the Western Conference.

3. Scott Gomez is set to appear in his 600th game as a Devil tonight, becoming the 15th player and ninth forward to do so. He's the second player to reach the milestone this season, joining Travis Zajac, who hit the mark on Feb. 17 against Buffalo.

4. Cory Schneider is 14-11-6 with two shutouts, a 1.83 goals-against average and .935 save percentage in 32 games at Prudential Center this season. He’s 26-15-10 with four shutouts, a 1.71 GAA, .935 save percentage in 53 career games played at The Rock. In 10 games versus the Ducks, Schneider is 4-2-1 with two shutouts, a 2.55 GAA and .904 save percentage.

5. Mike Cammalleri (2a, 2 games) and Patrik Elias (1g-1a, 2 games) look to extend their point streaks tonight. Elias notched the Devils’ lone goal – with an assist from Cammalleri – in Saturday’s loss at Carolina.

6. The Ducks clinched a playoff spot with a 3-2 win last night at Nassau Coliseum. They lead the President’s Trophy race with 103pts coming into tonight.
