Here's what you need to know for today's matinee at Madison Square Garden!

1. Cory Schneider will make his third start of the season and first vs. a Metropolitan Division opponent. Schneider posted three shutouts, a 2.45 GAA & .920 save percentage in 26 intra-divisional games last season.

2. John Moore and Lee Stempniak are expected to face their former team for the first time since being traded by the Rangers on Mar. 1, 2015. Moore was dealt to Arizona, Stempniak to Winnipeg.

3. The Devils have scored a power-play goal in each of their first four games. They're 4-for-15 with the man advantage overall and their 26.7% conversion rate ranks fifth (tie, Nashville & Minnesota) in the NHL.

4. Andy Greene is averaging 24:53 of ice time per game, which leads the Devils and ranks tenth in the NHL. Travis Zajac, who returns to the lineup today after missing Friday's game against San Jose, is second among all NHL forwards with 21:14 per game.

5. Mike Cammalleri is averaging a point per game in his career against the Rangers (7g-17a-10pts in 17 games)

6. Executive VP/General Manager Ray Shero’s father, Fred, played three seasons with the Rangers from 1947-50 and served as their head coach from 1978-80.
