Bud Light Six Pack of Stats: NJD @ LAK

by Staff Writer / New Jersey Devils

1. This is the second and final meeting of the season between the two clubs, first since the Devils' 1-0 win at Prudential Center on Feb. 14.

2. The Devils opened their three-game California road trip with a 3-0 blanking of San Jose on Thursday. Keith Kinkaid made 30 saves and Travis Zajac recorded his second two-goal game of the season. Devante Smith-Pelly's third goal in four games as a Devil held up as the game-winner.

3. Kinkaid has two shutouts in his last four starts – including the Devils' previous meeting with the Kings – and gets the call tonight in Los Angeles. The Devils have won their last three regular-season games at Staples Center (last loss, Oct. 30, 2010, 3-1) and are 3-2-0 vs. Los Angeles since the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals.

4. With nine career points (4g-5a) against the Kings, Zajac has the highest total among Devils in tonight's lineup.

5. Jordin Tootoo will miss tonight's game with an upper-body injury.

6. The Kings defeated Washington, 4-3, in overtime on Wednesday and are 7-2-1 over their last 10 games. Seven of their last eight contests have been played on home ice (6-1-0), where they're 21-11-1 overall.
