Bud Light Six Pack of Stats: NJD @ COL

by Staff Writer / New Jersey Devils

1. This is the third stop on the Devils' four-game Western road trip (1-1-0), which concludes Saturday in Arizona. Coach John Hynes' club is coming off of a 5-2 setback in St. Louis on Tuesday.

2. Tonight's starter Cory Schneider is 11-5-2, with two shutouts, a 1.98 goals-against average & a .935 save-percentage in 18 starts on the road this season.

3. Tuomo Ruutu (lower body) has been activated off of injured reserve after missing the last three games. Ruutu's looking to make his second appearance in the Devils' last nine contests. Forward Paul Thompson was assigned to Albany (AHL).

4. A pair of Devils enter tonight's game seeking to reach milestones: Adam Henrique needs one assist for 100 in his career; Lee Stempniak is one point away from 400 in the NHL.

5. New Jersey is looking to snap a five-game winless streak vs. Colorado (0-2-3, last win, Mar. 15, 2012, 1-0 SO at Prudential Center).

6. Each of the last six games between the Devils and Avalanche have been decided by one goal – four of those games have gone to overtime.
