by Staff Writer / New Jersey Devils

Here’s what you need to know for tonight’s game in Buffalo!

1. The Devils have won two in a row following Tuesday’s 2-0 victory over Pittsburgh and are now 9-3-2 over their last 14 contests. At 30-29-11, they’re above NHL .500 for the first time since Nov. 14 (8-7-2).

2. This is the third and final meeting between the Devils and Sabres this season. The Devils are 2-0-0 vs. Buffalo following a 2-1 shootout win at Prudential Center on Feb. 17

3. Tonight’s starter Keith Kinkaid is seeking his first career road win. He’s 0-3-1 away from The Rock this season with a 3.68 GAA and .887 save percentage, but is 2-0 overall in his last two decisions with just two goals allowed in that span.

4. Patrik Elias did not travel with the team to Buffalo and will miss his third straight game with back spasms.

5. Devils’ leading goal scorer Mike Cammalleri is set to miss tonight’s game with an illness. He left today’s morning skate early and did not participate in tonight’s warmups. Cammalleri, who has 25 goals in 58 appearances, last missed a game on Dec. 20.

6. Adam Henrique enters tonight’s contest on a three-game point streak (2g-1a). He leads all Devils with 38 points.
