by Staff Writer / New Jersey Devils

Here’s what you need to know for tonight’s road tilt in Anaheim!

1. The Devils are playing the second game of a three-game, West Coast road trip tonight. They’re 3-1-1 in their last five games following Wednesday’s 5-3 win at Los Angeles.

2. Since 2010-11, New Jersey is 5-3-0 in games played in California, including 2-0-0 at Anaheim.

3. The Ducks are tied with Nashville atop the NHL standings with 62 points. They have won four of their last five games and are 16-5-3 at Honda Center this season.

4. Michael Ryder, who's expected to play in his 800th NHL game tonight, has three points (1g-2a) in his last two games. Tim Sestito is set to hit the century mark tonight, appearing in his 100th NHL game.

5. Patrik Elias has points in back-to-back games (2a), 2g-4a in his last five contests, and remains one goal away from 400. He’s looking to become the 91st player in NHL history to reach the 400-goal plateau.

6. The Devils went 2-for-4 on the power play Wednesday in Los Angeles, the seventh time this season they’ve connected for two-or-more goals with the man advantage.
