United States: Matt Tennyson, Matthew Hellickson, Matty Beniers (prospect)
Devils defenseman Matt Tennyson picked up an assist for Team USA in its 3-0 victory against Kazakhstan Tuesday morning.

Tennyson, who assisted on Jack Drury's third-period goal, has two points (1G-1A) in three games for the United States, as well as a plus-1 rating. The Americans are now 2-0-0-1 in the tournament.
Devils prospect Matthew Hellickson had four shots, a plus-1 and 16:34 minutes of ice time. Potential 2021 No. 1-overall draft pick Matty Beniers was a plus-1 in 7 minutes of play.
American goaltender Cal Peterson stopped all 18 shots for the shutout against Kazakhstan, which dropped to 0-2-0-1.

SWEDEN 7, SWITZERLAND 0
Switzerland: Nico Hischier, Jonas Siegenthaler
Sweden scored the game's opening goal and never looked back in a 7-0 lopsided victory against Switzerland.
Despite surrendering seven goals, Hischier finished the game with a minus-1 in 17:41 minutes of ice time. Jonas Siegenthaler did not play in the contest.
Switzerland suffered its first loss in the World Championship, and now sits at 2-0-0-1. It was Sweden's first win, improving to 1-0-0-2.
