DEVILS VS. MAPLE LEAFS
Tonight is the third and final meeting between New Jersey and Toronto this season. The Devils are 1-1-0 vs. Toronto thus far with both games having taken place at Prudential Center. New Jersey defeated Toronto, 5-4 SO, on Nov. 23 and fell, 2-4, on Jan. 6. Jacob Josefson had the game-deciding goal in the shootout for NJ, while Auston Matthews scored the GWG for Toronto in their second meeting.
Toronto native, Michael Cammalleri, (upper body, week-to-week) had a season-high, four-point night vs. the Maple Leafs on Nov. 23. Cory Schneider is 6-1-3 in 10 career games vs. Toronto. His only regulation loss against the Leafs was on Jan. 6 of this season.
New Jersey is 7-11-4 against the Atlantic Division this season and is 17-22-7 vs. the Eastern Conference in 2016-17. New Jersey has only won one game at Air Canada Centre since the 2012-13 season (Dec. 4, 2013, 5-3) but have points in 10 of their last 11 games overall vs. the Leafs (6-1-4).
