Team Notes

• New Jersey fell to 4-6-1 vs. the Metropolitan Division, 8-10-1 on the road and 11-14-5 overall.

• The Devils were 1-for-2 on the power play tonight but allowed their fourth shorthanded goal of the season.

• New Jersey was 4-for-5 on the penalty-kill tonight and is 48/53 (90.6%) over the past 15 games.

• The Flyers outshot the Devils, 36-18.

Player Notes

Cory Schneider (32 saves + ENG) made his NHL-leading 28th start of the season and fell to 11-13-3.

Martin Havlat (PPG) scored his third scored goal of the season/first since November 15 vs. Colorado.

Scott Gomez registered the primary assist on Havlat's goal, his 337th as a Devil, tying Scott Stevens for fourth in club history. John MacLean (354) is third. Gomez has 3a over the last three games.

Damon Severson also assisted on Havlat's tally, giving him assists/points in back-to-back games (2a).

• Havlat, Jaromir Jagr and Mike Sislo led the Devils with three shots apiece.

Mike Cammalleri returned to the lineup after missing two games due to injury (muscle/posterior).
