11/25 Devils vs. Red Wings: 3 Things to Know

by Julie Robenhymer / newjerseydevils.com

The Devils (10-6-3) host the Detroit Red Wings (9-10-1) tonight at Prudential Center. Here's what you need to know:

1) Cory Schneider (.920 save percentage, 2.37 goals against average) will be in goal tonight for the Devils in this first game of a back-to-back. While he's happy the team is winning more often than not, he hasn't been entirely thrilled with his performances and knows he has more to give to help his team win a little more comfortably. He said after Wednesday's game that he should be the difference maker, wants to take that challenge head on and expects more from himself. Jimmy Howard and his .943 save percentage and 1.76 GAA will get the start for Detroit.

2) Dylan Larkin leads the Wings with five goals and Gustav Nyquist leads in points with 13. Mike Green is their big offensive weapon on the blueline with three goals and eight assists for 11 points.

3) Today marks the seventh anniversary of Sherry Ross making history by becoming the first female to provide commentary for an entire NHL game in English. You can listen to her alongside Matt Loughlin on the radio broadcast of every Devils game.

You can watch tonight's game on MSG+ or you can listen to it on WFAN or The One Jersey Network, available on the Devils app or iHeartRadio. Puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
