Team Notes

• New Jersey snapped its two-game losing streak and finished its three-game road trip 1-2-0.

• The Devils improved to 6-4-0 on the road & to 5-5-1 vs. the Western Conference overall.

• New Jersey is now 4-12-3 in the Western Canadian cities (Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver & Winnipeg) since 2011-12.

• The Devils won in Vancouver for the first time since Jan. 13, 2009 (0-2-1).

• New Jersey was 1/5 on the power play; they've scored on the PP in five straight & in 14 of their 20 games this season (16/71, 22.5 %).

• The Devils' penalty kill unit was 6/7 tonight and is 40/44 (90.9%) over the past 12 games.

• Vancouver outshot New Jersey 38-22, including a 32-13 margin over the final two periods.

Player Notes

Cory Schneider made a season-high 36 saves and improved to 10-5-1. He won in Vancouver for the first time since being traded to New Jersey and improved to 2-1-2 vs. the Canucks overall. Schneider has now allowed two goals or less in eight of his last nine starts since Oct. 29.

Schneider also stopped Radim Vrbata's third period penalty shot attempt. He's saved both penalty shots he's faced this season (also, Patrick Marleau Oct. 16 vs. San Jose) and 10/12 in his career.

Mike Cammalleri recorded 1g-2a-3pts for his fourth 3pt. game of the season. He has 4g-6a-10pts over the last eight games and leads the Devils with 7g-14a-21pts overall. Cammalleri has 14a this season; he had 15a in 68 games in 2014-15.

Andy Greene scored his first power play goal since Dec. 20, 2013 & snapped an eight-game point-scoring drought. With 33 career goals/175 career points, Greene is now just three goals/points behind Ken Daneyko (36g/178pts) for sixth in team history.

Adam Henrique scored the game-winning goal, his team-leading ninth goal of the season. He now has 3g-3a-6pts over the last seven contests. Henrique led New Jersey with five shots on goal tonight.

Kyle Palmieri assisted on Cammalleri's goal and now has points in back-to-back games (1g-1a-2pts).

Travis Zajac also assisted on Cammalleri's tally and has an assist in each of the last two contests.

Lee Stempniak registered a power play assist and has 1g-3a-4pts over the past four games. He has 12a in 20 games this season after recording just 13a in 71 games in 2014-15.

Adam Larsson posted an assist on Henrique's goal for his first point since Nov. 8 vs. Vancouver (4 games).

Jacob Josefson appeared in the 200th game of his NHL career.

David Schlemko did not play due to a lower body injury; he's considered day-to-day.

Eric Gelinas returned to the lineup after being a healthy scratch for the previous seven games Nov. 6-20. He recorded 4 shots on goal in 13:10 of action tonight.

Stefan Matteau made his first appearance since Nov. 12 at Chicago. He was a healthy scratch the previous two games and missed the Nov. 14 contest vs. Pittsburgh due to illness.
