10/29 Devils vs. Lightning: 3 Things To Know

by Julie Robenhymer / newjerseydevils.com

The Devils host the Lightning tonight at Prudential Center in the finale of this four-game home stand. Here's what you need to know:

1) Cory Schneider is expected to return between the pipes for New Jersey tonight after having the night off against Chicago, and Ben Bishop is expected to be in goal for Tampa Bay. Andrei Vasilevskiy started in net when the Devils faced the Lightning two weeks ago.

2) Special teams will be key. Both teams are among the best in the league on the power play and the penalty kill, with Tampa having the slight edge in both statistical categories, but New Jersey having a higher propensity for taking penalties.

3) It's Hockey Halloween Night at The Rock! Come celebrate early with us! There will be costume contests, trick-or-treating and hopefully many goal celebrations for the guys in red. If you don't have a costume, feel free to come as your favorite Devils fan ;)

Join Ken Daneyko and me at 6 p.m. for the Pregame Show on Facebook Live. Then come on down to The Rock for a spook-tacular evening with us, or listen on WFAN and watch on MSG+. Puck drops at 7 p.m.
