Recently, Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney discussed the progress of prospect Anthony Duclair:
PROSPECT: Anthony Duclair
DRAFTED: 2013 (80th overall, by New York Rangers)
CURRENT TEAM: Quebec Remparts (QMJHL)
"Anthony Duclair is a terrific, elite, young scoring winger. You don't find this type of ability on this young of a player very often. He really burst on the scene last year, the year after he got drafted. He had 50 goals at junior last year."
"I first saw him at the summer camp (for Canada's junior team) with Max Domi in August and he jumped off the map with the speed he played with."
"He went into the Rangers camp and made the team in the fall as a 19-year-old, which, with a team like the Rangers, is really a credit to his game."

"He's got a nice combination of speed and playmaking ability. I look at him and Max (Domi) and they're similar in a lot of ways. They have the same sort of mind-set. It's not a coincidence they played so well together - they could read off each other at the World Junior."
"He’s a guy who’s ready to play for us now. He’s played in the League and he’s starred in a major tournament. We’re excited to watch him take the next step."
"Hopefully he'll show up here next September and become a scoring winger for us. It's going to be up to him to have a good summer and work hard and come in and gain the trust of the coaches. But he has that ability that is God-given and hopefully we can bring it along."
