Information, observations and anecdotes about the Coyotes
as told by Dave Vest, the team's V.P. of News Content
Testing… testing… 1… 2… 3…
Greetings and welcome to my first blog entry for phoenixcoyotes.com. As some of you may remember, I used to cover the Coyotes not too long ago for one of the local newspapers. Well, those days are gone and now I am working for the team in a new role that’s been created to help bring hockey fans more information on the Coyotes than ever before. This blog will be a key part of that effort.
So, let me start by briefly explaining this blog and what you will find here. I’ve named it “Inside the Den” because that’s where I plan to spend my days and where all of the content in my blog will come from. I’ll be at all Coyotes practices, morning skates, games and team functions gathering information from within. Then I’ll pick out the really crucial, interesting and fun stuff, and report it exclusively to phoenixcoyotes.com visitors in this forum. Please note some of my blogs will be serious in nature, some will be analytical and some will be light-hearted and silly. In other words, I plan to really mix things up. That’s the beauty of a blog, I think. Don’t you?
Keep in mind I won’t be the only one connected to the team writing a blog for phoenixcoyotes.com. Darren Pang will continue to share his unique observations and experiences in a blog, too. So will all of the team’s other broadcasters and maybe even a player or two. In other words, once training camp starts it’s going to be a bona-fide smorgas-blog around here, if you will.
In closing, I invite those of you who haven’t already to bookmark phoenixcoyotes.com and check in multiple times per day. If you do, I’m confident you’ll quickly discover it’s clearly the best site on the Internet to find professional, comprehensive and fun coverage of the Coyotes on a daily basis.
Thanks for reading.
