UPSHALL EXPECTED TO RETURN TUESDAY

by Dave Vest / Arizona Coyotes
Forward Scottie Upshall is expected to return to the lineup on Tuesday night when the Coyotes host the San Jose Sharks at Jobing.com Arena.

Upshall, who leads the Coyotes with 14 goals, has missed the past three games because of an upper-body injury he suffered against the Detroit Red Wings on Jan. 2. The Coyotes posted a 1-1-1 record in those games.

"Scottie has skated three days in a row now very hard so if he gets the go-ahead (from the training staff) he'll be ready to go for tomorrow night," Head Coach Dave Tippett said after Monday's practice.

Tippett is eager to get Upshall back on the ice.

"He plays all out all the time and he can give you that extra boost when your team is down," Tippett said.
