TELL-US-STRADER: IT'S NHL ALL-STAR WEEKEND

by Dave Strader / Arizona Coyotes
The Coyotes will be well-represented at the NHL All Star festivities in Montreal this weekend. As most of you know, rookie Mikkel Boedker has been selected to participate in the YoungStars Game as part of the Honda Skills Competition on Saturday. Captain Shane Doan will play for the Western Conference in the All-Star Game on Sunday.

Also making the trip to Montreal will be Sergey Kocharov, the team's Director of Media Relations and Jim O’Neal, the team's Director of Security. Sergey will be handling the media demands for Doan and Boedker while Jim is part of the NHL’s security staff for this event.

I will be in Montreal as well, as I have the privilege of calling the All-Star Game telecast for NHL International. I’ve called every All-Star Game for NHL International since the 1997 game in San Jose. My broadcast partner will be Joe Micheletti. This telecast goes out to about 175 countries around the world. Joe and I will also be part of the NHL Network’s extensive coverage of all the events in Montreal beginning with the Coaches Roundtable on Thursday. Here’s a breakdown of all the programming the NHL Network will provide:
