Arizona Coyotes prospect Dylan Strome lost his stick Wednesday, but he didn't lose his head.

Playing for Erie of the Ontario Hockey League, Strome had his stick stolen by London defenseman Brandon Crowley, but he picked up Crowley's stick and used it to score a goal.

As the play entered Erie's offensive zone, Strome bumped into Crowley, knocking the stick from his hand. Crowley responded by stealing Strome's stick. Strome, selected by the Coyotes with the third pick of the 2015 NHL Draft, briefly pleaded to officials for a penalty. When none was called, he picked Crowley's stick up off the ice and used it to put Erie ahead 5-1.

"I was skating in front of the net and (Crowley) had my stick, so I was yelling at the ref," Strome told The Hockey Writers. "I just thought I should probably grab his stick. We made a couple of plays and I got to the net and it worked out pretty well."

Strome celebrated by holding Crowley's stick high in the air. He then found Crowley at London's bench so they could exchange sticks.
