GLENDALE, Ariz. --- The Phoenix Coyotes will host a free open house on Saturday, Aug. 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale.
The open house is free to the public and will provide fans the opportunity to enjoy complimentary hot dogs, drinks and fun games for the kids. Coyotes’ Captain Shane Doan
will be joined by Peter Mueller and newly-acquired Olli Jokinen, who will all be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs. For Coyotes fans, the event will be their first opportunity to welcome Jokinen to the Valley.
The Coyotes offer fans a variety of affordable season ticket packages with great seat locations still available starting at just $9 a game. The new half-season plan includes the choice of a guaranteed seat for opening night against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday, Oct. 11, plus any 19 games on the 2008-09 schedule.
Saturday’s open house will also be the first chance for fans to purchase the new partial plans, including an 11-game pick’em plan that allows fans to pick opening night plus 10 of their favorite games. Several five-game plans will also be available featuring games against the 2008 Stanley Cup champion Detroit Red Wings and the Stanley Cup finalist Pittsburgh Penguins for as little as $75 per plan.
