TUCSON – The Tucson Roadrunners, American Hockey League affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, announced today that the team has signed forward Eric Selleck to an American Hockey League contract for the 2016-17 season.
The 28-year-old Selleck appeared in 60 games with the Springfield (AHL) Falcons last season recording a career-high 10 goals to go with 12 assists and 22 points. The 6-2, 209-pound winger also appeared in one game with the Coyotes registering no points and five minutes in penalties.
Selleck is a veteran of 392 AHL games and three in the National Hockey League, one last year
with Arizona and two with the Florida Panthers in 2012-13.
“We are happy that Eric has joined our team in Tucson," said Roadrunners General Manager Doug Soetaert. “He brings lots of energy every night and is a hard player to play against. We also expect Eric to continue to contribute offensively as last season was his personal best point producing season. I feel he will quickly become a fan favorite with the way he plays the game."
The Roadrunners will begin their first AHL campaign this season this October, and season tickets are now on sale by calling (520) 471-6627. Full-season plans start as low as $10 per seat for all 35 home games.
