ABOUT THE 'YOTES:
• The Coyotes have won three of their past four games, and outscored opponents, 12-3, in the three victories. In fact, the final score of all three wins was 4-1.
Antti Raanta, who has missed the past two games because of flu-like symptoms, is expected to start in goal. He last played a week ago at Winnipeg, a 5-3 loss. Raanta has posted a 3-2-0 record with a 1.79 goals-against average and a .942 save percentage in five career games vs. Tampa Bay.

Clayton Keller is leading the Coyotes with six points and co-leading with four goals. He has scored all of his goals in the third period, and is just one of six NHLers who have scored four or more third-period goals. Keller started the season quietly, but has produced five points (four goals, one assist) in his past four games.
• The Coyotes rank second in the NHL in goals allowed (19) and penalty-killing percentage (91.3), and fifth-lowest in shots against per game (27.9).

Yotes Bites: Ready for Tampa

Richard Panik, who has served as a healthy scratch the past two games, is expected to be inserted back into the lineup vs. Tampa Bay, the team that drafted him 52nd overall in 2009 and for which he played 75 games from 2012-14. Panik skated on a line with Alex Galchenyuk and Keller during Friday's practice.
• Arizona has scored three short-handed goals in nine games this season. Only San Jose has scored more (four). It's a stark contrast to last season when the Coyotes managed to score just two short-handed goals in 82 games.
• The Coyotes will again wear their popular throwback "Kachina" uniforms. However, Arizona is 0-2-0 in the retro gear this season, and has yet to score a goal while wearing it. Greg Adams, who wore the uniform while playing for the Coyotes from 1998-2000, is slated to drop the ceremonial first puck.

Victor Hedman, who won the Norris Trophy last season, suffered an undisclosed injury in Friday's game and is not expected to play vs. the Coyotes ... Tocchet: Goaltending's Been Huge

'YOTES QUOTES:
• "We've gotten excellent goaltending, right from the start of the year, and it's really helped us. We're still giving up some Grade-A chances, and we'll try to eliminate that, but the goalies have been really good. They're giving us a chance to win every night." -- Rick Tocchet
• "We didn't score in the first few games, but we knew if we stuck with it the goals would come in bunches, and that's kind of happened ... Obviously they've got some great players - (Steven) Stamkos, (Nikita) Kucherov, the list goes on. We want to play the best and we want to play them when they're playing their best." -- Brendan Perlini
• "We're playing well and getting contributions from a lot of different guys ... They have a lot of depth, with four lines and six d-men that are really good players, and their power play is really good. They have a lot of guys who can really move the puck around so it's going to be a big test for us." -- Brad Richardson
