ABOUT THE 'YOTES:
• The Coyotes are looking to end a 12-game losing streak vs. the Bruins. Arizona last beat Boston on Oct. 9, 2010, when the two teams began that season by playing back-to-back games in Prague, Czech Republic. Since then, the Coyotes are 0-11-1 in matchups between the teams, including 0-5-1 in the past six games played in Glendale.
• Backup Darcy Kuemper will again start in goal in place of Antti Raanta, who is nursing a lower-body injury. Kuemper, who has started the past six games, made a career-high 45 saves on Tuesday to key a 2-1 win over Nashville. Kuemper is 4-4-1 with a 2.77 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage this season. Meanwhile, Raanta has been skating away from teammates and is expected to be back in the lineup before the homestand ends on Nov. 25.
• The Coyotes will play minus three key defensemen. Jason Demers is sidelined indefinitely after suffering a lower-body injury in Tuesday's game vs. Nashville. Alex Goligoski (lower-body injury) and Jakob Chychrun (upper-body injury) also will not play. Dakota Mermis, who played nine games for the Coyotes last season, is expected to make his season debut vs. the Bruins.
