PHOENIX COYOTES ARE READY
FOR THE PUCK TO DROP

Opening Night, Thursday, October 5th
Phoenix Coyotes vs. New York Islanders, 7:05 P.M.

The Phoenix Coyotes are preparing for the puck to drop on Opening Night, Thursday, October 5th. There will be many special features to the evening, which pairs the Coyotes and the New York Islanders.

Jerry Moyes, Owner of the Phoenix Coyotes, will be a part of the ceremonial puck drop before the game. Bobby Freeman, Arizona Diamondbacks Organist & Keyboard Artist, will play for the Coyotes' home opener and for 14 other home games this season. Freemanhas a great deal of experience in sports having been associated in the past with other Valley sports teams including the Phoenix Firebirds, Roadrunners and Suns.

"Bobby's appearances at The Glendale Arena will add an exciting new dimension to the atmosphere for Coyotes games this season!" said Michael Bucek, Phoenix Coyotes Executive VP and CMO.

Recording artist Mindi Abair will play the National Anthem on Opening Night. Abair's current album, Life Less Ordinary, is #10 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Charts. She will be playing the saxophone for her Coyotes performance.
