COYOTES DEFENSEMAN MATTHEW SPILLER
TO APPEAR AT 'KIDS FIRST' EVENT IN PEORIA

Wednesday, June 28, 5:15 P.M. - 6:15 P.M.

The Phoenix Coyotes "Kids First" hockey program continued on Wednesday, June 28 from 5:15 P.M.-6:15 P.M. at the Desert Schools Coyotes Center in Peoria. The complex is located at 15829 North 83rd Avenue.

Coyotes defenseman Matthew Spiller was on hand to sign autographs and take pictures with the kids.

The program consists of four one-hour sessions each Wednesday, which started June 14 and will finish on July 5.

The "Kids First" event provides kids ages four to eight the opportunity to learn the basics of skating and playing hockey. It is designed for new skaters not already in a hockey program.

The clinic runs about one hour and teaches the beginning fundamentals of hockey as well as safety and teamwork. This is a great way for kids to learn about hockey and meet a local NHL player. In addition, each player receives a "Kids First" hockey jersey.
