Coyotes center Matthew Lombardi scored his first goal to spark Canada to a 5-1 victory over Norway on Sunday at the IIHF World Championship in Zurich-Kloten Switzerland.
"It felt good," Lombardi told reporters. "The boys were giving it to me a little bit for missing some chances, so it definitely felt good."
Lombardi scored his goal at 4:40 of the first period to give Canada a 1-0 lead.
Coyotes forwards Shane Doan
and Scottie Upshall each chipped in an assist for Canada, which is undefeated in the tournament after playing five games. Canada next plays Monday vs. Finland.
