KYLE TURRIS' FIRST DAY ON THE JOB

by Heath Price-Khan / Arizona Coyotes
On Monday afternoon, Kyle Turris was sitting in a classroom at the University of Wisconsin, by Tuesday at 2:30pm he was walking into Jobing.com Arena for the first time as a member of the Phoenix Coyotes.

He cruised into the building with a huge smile on his face as Peter Mueller and Keith Yandle guided him down the hallway to the entrance of the Coyotes dressing room.

It did not take long before Kyle was introduced to Captain Shane Doan and many of the other veterans like Ed Jovanovski, Derek Morris, and former Wisconsin Badger Steven Reinprecht.

After he put on the #91 sweater, he followed Shane Doan to the rink to do what he does best......skate and play hockey.

Once he got on the ice, Turris immediately looked like one of the guys, and Wayne Gretzky really put a smile on his face with his linemates.

91, 88, & 19 skated together all practice so fans should be very excited to see Kyle Turris' debut on Thursday. With Mueller and Doan flanking "The Can't Miss Kid" it will be a special night in Glendale.

Kyle Turris chatted with the media moments after his first practice.
