COYOTES WINGER JOSH GRATTON HELPS KICK OFF
'KIDS FIRST' EVENT IN PEORIA

The Phoenix Coyotes "Kids First" hockey program droped the puck on Wednesday, June 14 at the Desert Schools Coyotes Center in Peoria. The complex is located at 15829 North 83rd Avenue.

Coyotes winger Josh Gratton and Howler, the Coyotes mascot, were on hand to sign autographs and take pictures with the kids.

Kids ages four to eight had the opportunity to learn the basics of skating and playing hockey. It is designed for new skaters not already in a hockey program. The clinic runs about one hour and teaches the beginning fundamentals of hockey as well as safety and teamwork. This is a great way for kids to learn about hockey and meet a local NHL player.

The program consists of four one-hour sessions beginning this Wednesday and running each Wednesday through July 5 in Peoria. In addition, each player receives a Kids First Hockey jersey.
