DALLAS - Center Olli Jokinen will return to the lineup Wednesday night when the Coyotes play the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center.

Jokinen has missed the past six games because of a shoulder injury he suffered on Nov. 26 vs. Columbus. Despite missing those games, Jokinen ranks second on the team with 18 points.

At Tuesday’s practice in Dallas, Jokinen centered a line with wingers Peter Mueller and Mikkel Boedker.

Meanwhile, center Joakim Lindstrom likely will make his debut with the Coyotes on Wednesday.

Phoenix acquired Lindstrom last week from the Anaheim Ducks for defenseman Logan Stephenson. After the trade, Lindstrom was assigned to the team’s top affiliate in the American Hockey League where he notched a goal and an assist in three games.

At Lindstrom’s first practice with the Coyotes on Tuesday, he played wing on a line with Steven Reinprecht and Shane Doan. A native of Skelleftea, Sweden, Lindstrom has four goals and four assists in 37 NHL games.

• Ilya Bryzgalov is expected to start in goal against the Stars.

• Prospect goalie Josh Tordjman was named the American Hockey League's Player of the Week after winning three games – two via shutouts – last week for San Antonio. Tordjman stopped 69 of 72 shots in those three games.
