What really goes on during a Phoenix Coyotes hockey game? Have you ever wondered what scratched players are up to while the rest of the team is on the ice? Or what about what it really takes to operate the Zamboni? FSN Arizona will answer these questions and more when it takes viewers behind the scenes during this Saturday’s telecast when the Coyotes take on the Los Angeles Kings at Jobing.com Arena. Coverage begins on Saturday, Feb. 16, at 6:30 p.m. with the Qwest Coyotes Live pre-game show.
FSN Arizona’s Todd Walsh will kick off the evening by taking viewers inside the Coyotes locker room to see how players and coaches prepare before the game. After the puck drops, Walsh will speak with Coyotes trainer Mike Bahn as he shows off the scratched players’ workout before later visiting with The Pack dance team and gaining insight into their in-game routine.
Viewers will also get a media pass to gain insight into the broadcasting side of a Coyotes hockey game, including trips inside the television booth, the radio booth, the in-arena videoboard room and the FSN Arizona production truck.
FSN Arizona televises the most regional sports action in the state and is the exclusive cable television home of the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Coyotes, Arizona Cardinals, Arizona State University, University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, Arizona Rattlers and Phoenix Mercury.
