AT GLENDALE ARENA ATTRACTS HUNDREDS OF FANS

Doan and Jovanovski highlight an evening of fun and excitement

The Phoenix Coyotes hosted a ticket Open House event Wednesday evening, August 30, at Glendale Arena. Fans were able to mingle with Coyotes notables and choose their favorite seats for Season Tickets, Partial Packages and Mini plans for the 2006-2007 season.

Coyotes Captain Shane Doan, and newly signed defenseman Ed Jovanovski were on hand and signed hundreds of autographs for fans and shared their excitement about the upcoming season.

Doan enters his third season as team captain after serving as an assistant captain for two seasons. Prior to coming to Phoenix in July, Jovanovski played the past seven seasons with Vancouver, during which he competed in three NHL All-Star Games (2001, 2002 and 2003). He led Canucks' defensemen in scoring for three consecutive seasons from 2000-2003.

Howler, the Coyotes mascot, was also there to meet and greet fans. There were free hot dogs, sodas, games for kids and more.
