The Skinny:

Looke spent the majority of the 2014-15 season skating with Brynas in Sweden’s top league, where he registered 2-4—6 in 43 games. He also spent time with their junior squad, producing at a point-per-game pace (10-8—18 in 18 GP). He finished 10th among European skaters in the final NHL Draft Prospect Rankings.

The Stats:

• Internationally, Looke has represented Sweden at the 2015 World Junior Championship (3-0—3 in 7 GP), 2015 Under-18 World Junior Championship and 2014 Ivan Hlinka Memorial (0-4—4 in 5 GP).

• Looke has developed his game in the Brynas system. Current NHL players from Brynas include Nicklas Backstrom of the Washington Capitals, Jakob Silfverberg of the Anaheim Ducks and Elias Lindholm of the Carolina Hurricanes.

• Looke compares his style of play to one of his favorite players, Hurricanes forward Elias Lindholm, and lists Evgeni Malkin of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steven Stamkos of the Tampa Bay Lightning among his other favorite players to watch.

• Looke says he's favorite movie is Grown Ups 2 and his favorite sport other than hockey is soccer.
