DOAN OUT 2-3 WEEKS WITH BACK INJURY

Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Michael Barnett announced today that Coyotes' captain Shane Doan will be out of the lineup 2-3 weeks with a back injury. Doan met with Dr. Robert Watkins in Los Angeles this morning and it was determined that the injury will not require surgery.

The Coyotes also announced today that defenseman Nick Boynton has a bruised foot and is listed day-to-day. Boynton suffered the injury in the third period of last night's game versus the Dallas Stars when he blocked a shot.
