COYOTES AND FSN ARIZONA ANALYST DARREN PANG
TO BROADCAST GAMES FOR NHL ON NBC
Also set to call NHL All-Star game for NHL Radio, January 24th
Phoenix Coyotes and FSN Arizona television analyst Darren Pang has been named by NBC to be a broadcaster for several games for NHL on NBC. The puck will drop for a second season on NBC in 2006-07, with nine weeks of regular season coverage every Sunday. This Saturday, January 13th, will have regional coverage of three games. Pang will work this Saturday's Los Angeles versus St. Louis game.
Pang's broadcast partners for the NHL on NBC will be Chris Cuthbert and Peter McNabb, with Pang reporting "Inside The Glass." He will also be doing NHL Radio with Sam Rosen for the All-Star game in Dallas, Wednesday, January 24th.
The 2006-07 season was Pang's second as the analyst for the Coyotes. The previous 12 seasons, Pang worked on network broadcasts of the NHL.
Pang enhanced Coyotes broadcasts on FSN Arizona the past two seasons with his unique style and enthusiasm. This is the tenth year of partnership between FSN Arizona and the Coyotes, where Pang, one of the most recognizable broadcast faces in hockey, is teamed with long-time Coyotes play-by-play announcer Curt Keilback.
