Jones, Weller and York Assist with Food Drive

Phoenix Coyotes President and Chief Operating Officer Douglas Moss announced that the Coyotes’ Leading Ladies – the Coyotes wives and girlfriends – are partnering with The Society of St. Vincent de Paul-Phoenix to host a food drive on Nov. 21 at Jobing.com Arena.

Fans can bring non-perishable food items to either Gate 4 or 7 outside Jobing.com Arena prior to the Coyotes’ game vs. the Los Angeles Kings at 7:30 p.m.

All food donations will go to the St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank. Every fan that donates an item will be entered into a raffle to meet Coyotes players Matt Jones, Craig Weller and Mike York following the game.

The Leading Ladies’ food drive highlights November’s Coyotes Causes efforts. Each month during the season, the Coyotes spotlight their community efforts around a cause important to our fans and the community.

November’s cause is Hockey for Health, Presented by The Core Institute – a focus on improving the health of all adults. Jones, Weller and York – along with their wives – are helping the Coyotes to champion this month’s cause, which also seeks to raise awareness for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and The Partnership for a Drug Free America, Arizona Chapter.
