COYOTES WIN FOUR ADDYS AT ANNUAL ADVERTISING AWARDS

Wednesday, March 25, 2009 GLENDALE, Ariz. --- The Phoenix Coyotes and Blind Society, a Valley-based consumer marketing agency, earned four American Advertising Federation ADDY Awards at the 2009 Metro Phoenix ADDY Awards.
“The Coyotes are proud to have our creative considered along with the other worthy nominees,” said Phoenix Coyotes Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Michael Bucek. “Our internal staff combined with Blind Society and Daylite Films, the company responsible for the production of the commercials, helped us evolve our ‘Pierre’ campaign which is both entertaining and effective.”
The ADDYs are the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, recognizing and rewarding creative excellence in the art of advertising.
The Coyotes and Blind Society were awarded four Silver ADDYs for the following advertising initiatives: • Silver ADDY – Internet Commercial: Phoenix Coyotes “Pierre on Issues” Viral Video • Silver ADDY – Internet Commercial: Phoenix Coyotes “Nonsense Speech” Viral Video • Silver ADDY – Internet Commercial: Phoenix Coyotes “Pierreocratican” Viral Video • Silver ADDY – Local TV: Phoenix Coyotes “Fastest Slap Shot” TV Spot
Out of 744 entries submitted by 52 different Phoenix companies, the judges awarded 57 Gold, 78 Silver and 62 Bronze ADDY Awards. The Coyotes earned more awards than any other professional sports team in Phoenix.
