GLENDALE -- The Coyotes will return to home ice on Saturday night when they host the New York Islanders at Gila River Arena. The puck drops at 6 p.m. Arizona time.

Arizona (11-22-6) earned a point on Friday night with a 3-2 overtime loss at Anaheim, but the defeat extended the team's winless streak to nine games.

Forwards Martin Hanzal and Jordan Martinook, and defenseman Jakob Chychrun, all were injured in the loss to the Ducks. Hanzal (lower-body injury) and Martinook (upper-body injury) will not play. Chychrun will play. So will forward Laurent Dauphin, whom the Coyotes on Saturday morning recalled from Tucson of the American Hockey League.

Louis Domingue will start in goal in place of Mike Smith, who played Friday at Anaehim.

Defenseman Kevin Connauton, a healthy scratch vs. anaheim, will play right wing on the fourth line.

Center Alexander Burmistrov, whom Arizona claimed off waivers on Monday, is not expected to play in Saturday's game as he continues to work through work visa issues. His debut with Arizona most likely will take place on Friday vs. Winnipeg.

On the fifth anniversary of his first hat trick, the Coyotes will honor captain Shane Doan before Saturday's game for recently playing his 1,500th NHL game and scoring his 400th NHL goal.

New York (15-15-7) played at Colorado on Friday night and lost, 2-1, in overtime.

Thomas Greiss made 37 saves for the Islanders, who are 4-1-1 in their past six games. Greiss will play against the Coyotes, for whom he played 25 games in 2013-14.

Forward Anders Lee has notched 13 goals since Nov. 23. During this streak, Lee has notched three game-winning goals and three multi-goal games.

Defenseman Johnny Boychuk, who scored New York's lone goal on Friday, will play in his 500th NHL game.

Captain John Tavares will enter the game needing two points for 500 in his NHL career.
