Coyotes to Play in Rookie Tournament in San Jose

Arizona will play three games at Solar 4 America Ice in San Jose

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes President of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes will participate in a rookie tournament hosted by the San Jose Sharks from September 9 - 12. Arizona will play three games during the tournament including at Anaheim on Sept. 9, vs. Colorado on Sept. 11 and at San Jose on Sept. 12. All games will be held at Solar 4 America Ice at San Jose.

The Coyotes rookie roster will include first round draft choices P.O. Joseph (2017), Clayton Keller (2016), Dylan Strome (2015) and Nick Merkley (2015). In addition, prospects including Christian Fischer, Ryan MacInnis, Conor Garland, Kyle Wood, Kyle Capobianco, Cam Dineen and Adin Hill will participate.

Arizona's rookies will report for rookie camp at Gila River Arena on Sept. 7 for medicals and fitness testing followed by an on-ice practice on Sept. 8 before traveling to San Jose.

Sunday, Sept. 10
Arizona Practice - 11:45-1:15 p.m. (Solar 4 America Ice at San Jose)
 
Monday, Sept. 11
Colorado at Arizona - 7 p.m. (Solar 4 America Ice at San Jose)
 
Tuesday, Sept. 12
Arizona at San Jose - 3 p.m. (Solar 4 America Ice at San Jose)
