GLENDALE, ARIZONA --The Arizona Coyotes announced today that the franchise now owns the 14th overall selection at the 2019 NHL Draft following this evening's NHL Draft lottery in Toronto. In addition to selecting 14th overall, the Coyotes own picks in the second, third, fourth, sixth and seventh rounds. The 2019 NHL Draft will take place at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia on June 21-22.

This marks the second time in Coyotes history and the third time in franchise history (Bobby Dollas - 1983, Patrick DesRochers - 1998) that the club has owned the 14th overall selection in the NHL Draft.
Notable No. 14 picks selected in the NHL Draft since 2007 include Charlie McAvoy (2016), Jake DeBrusk (2015), Alexander Wennberg (2013), Zemgus Girgensons (2012), Jamie Oleksiak (2011), Jaden Schwartz (2010) and Kevin Shattenkirk (2007).
The Coyotes will have eight selections in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. The following is a complete list of the Draft choices the Coyotes currently own:
