GLENDALE, Ariz. --- The Phoenix Coyotes’ Leading Ladies – the community-minded moniker of the players’ wives and girlfriends – are partnering with the Salvation Army to host the Biscuit in the Basket Food Drive at the Coyotes’ Nov. 28 home game vs. the Colorado Avalanche at 2 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable boxed and canned food items to Jobing.com Arena prior to the game for drop-off at the Leading Ladies’ donation stations located outside Gate 4 and Gate 7. All fans who donate items will be entered to win a team-signed Coyotes jersey and four glass seats to a future Coyotes home game.
All food collected will be donated to support the Salvation Army. Additionally, members of the Salvation Army will be distributing program information at the Coyotes Community Corner on the main concourse next to the Coyotes Den team store.
The Leading Ladies’ Biscuit in the Basket Food Drive is part of Coyotes Causes, a monthly program dedicated to partnerships among the Coyotes and various non-profit organizations to support community outreach initiatives throughout the hockey season. November’s Coyotes Cause is “Home is Where the Howl is,” a commitment to family issues and family-focused organizations.
