GLENDALE -- The Arizona Coyotes Foundation has teamed with Sanderson Ford to donate a 2014 Ford E-350, 15-passenger van to Heart for the City, a local nonprofit that works with inner-city youth.
“The van will be used to transport youth to all of our sports programs, practices and games, our community garden, winter and summer camps, and school events,” said Joe Eriquez, CEO and president of Heart for the City. “It will be a critical asset for us since the youth we work with often don’t have transportation available to them.”
Heart for the City is an organization committed to the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of the children and poor families of the inner city communities. Special emphasis is placed on low-income neighborhoods by creating innovative solutions to the difficult social problems that low-income families face daily.
“Heart for the City is an incredible organization that does so much to for the youth of Glendale,” Coyotes Co-Owner and Chairman of the Arizona Coyotes Foundation Dave Duckett said. “We are excited to team up with our great partner, Sanderson Ford, to be able to support them with a new mode of transportation.”
